This FREE family-friendly Environmental Fair aims to show you how each small step you take can help reduce your carbon footprint at home, school and work and save money while doing so. Local businesses and nonprofits will provide information and items to help you live a more sustainable life.
EXHIBITORS
More than 40 exhibitors will educate attendees on the environmental impact of their consumer actions and choices, and how making small changes can reduce household expenses.
ENTERTAINMENT
The one-of-a-kind Eco Elvis, who describes himself as a “mix between Elvis, Weird Al Yankovic and Greta Thunberg” will perform from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Eco Elvis sings parodies to “edutain” people about how to take care of themselves, each other and our home, Planet Earth.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES
Bring your kids – children will be in for lots of fun and educational activities. And yes, there will be face painting!
ELECTRONICS RECYCLING
PCs for People will take old computers and electronics, focusing on laptops, desktops and monitors and recycling them at the event. There is no need to remove or wipe hard drives ahead of time as they offer certified data destruction and recycling services. Fees apply for certain items. Learn more about this service.
FASHION SHOW
New this year will be a multi-generational thrift store clothing fashion show, which will go on throughout the fair.
