Nature Gathering and Meditation

Sunday, June 9th

10:00-11:00 am CT
Burr Oak Woods Conservation Center
1297 NW Park Road, Blue Springs, MO

Join The Resilient Activist and friends for Five Essentials for a Resilient World, followed by a relaxing and heart-opening guided nature meditation. Hosted by Stirred to Action and presented by Sami Aaron with The Resilient Activist.

We’ll focus on self-healing and how healing the earth is directly tied to our own personal health.

There are 3 ways to participate in this gathering:
*10AM at Burr Oak Woods Conservation pavilion at the Hickory Grove trailhead (at the end of the park road) – Sami will lead this session.
*3PM at Lake Doniphan – Tracy Twombly with Stirred to Action will lead this session with materials provided by Sami.
*On your own – We will email you a nature meditation and reflection to do on your own.

These gatherings will kick off a new series for Stirred to Action on health and wellness, where we will hear from organizations that will educate us on caring for children, elderly, and personal health and wellness.

This is a free event, no registration is required. Bring a chair, beverage, hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. If you’d like to join others for more time in nature, pack a sack lunch and stay as long as you’d like.  Contact Tracy Twombly at 913-775-3557 with questions.

This is a free event – no registration is required.
