Join naturalist Ken Lassman for a delightful walk highlighting the native and ecological features of East Lawrence, Kansas.

Experience the cool trees, the soils and geology of East Lawrence.

Enjoy seasonal highlights of birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and other wildlife found within/passing through the neighborhood.

We will walk through East Lawrence to Burroughs Creek Park and back.

People needing a shorter walk may meet us at the entrance to Burroughs Creek Park.
